A. ACTIVITY #1 Read the story of Moses (recommendation: use a children’s bible or book). Talk about the story and answer questions. What was the name of the baby? Moses.Where did the mommy put Moses? In a basket in the river. Why did she do that? To keep him safe. Was the mommy sad to have to put her baby in the basket? Yes. But was Moses kept safe? Yes. Who kept Moses safe? God. Who found him? The Pharaoh’s daughter. And who got to take care of Moses? His mommy.
B. ACTIVITY #2: Watch the video on Moses. Talk about the story and again answer questions.
C. ACTIVITY #3: Before beginning, fill the bathtub with water and float the doll in the plastic container. After reading the book, watching the video and answering questions, say, “Maybe there is a Moses floating in the water in our house. Let’s check. Where is there water in our house?” Check the kitchen, laundry and then the bathroom(s), finding the baby Moses floating in the last bathtub.
